NFL Free Agency Rumors: Lofa Tatupu, Kelvin Hayden To Visit Redskins, According To Report

The Washington Redskins have had a busy offseason, but it's not quite over. The team still needs some help at linebacker and at cornerback, and will reportedly pursue two of the more prominent free agents still remaining at those position. The Redskins will bring in former Seahawks linebacker Lofa Tatupu and former Colts cornerback Kelvin Hayden, according to a report by Jason La Canfora of NFL Network.

Tatupu, who will turn 29 this season, was released by the Seahawks last week. He was a three-time Pro Bowler, but his play has dropped off since early in his career. However, he has experience as a middle linebacker, and the Redskins have a need alongside London Fletcher in their 3-4.

Hayden is a 27-year old starter who was recently released by the Colts. He has not been on the field consistently, missing six, seven and five games in the past three years. The Redskins are thin at the position, though, and could use him and Josh Wilson alongside DeAngelo Hall.
