Shayne Graham (Probably) Hands Kicking Job To Graham Gano Without Him Doing Anything

Graham Gano did well for himself in his quest to win the Washington Redskins' kicking job, hitting all three of his field-goal attempts, including a 45-yarder, in the Redskins' win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first preseason game. Of course, none of that really mattered, because he probably won the job over Shayne Graham without even having to attempt a kick.

That's because Graham was embarrassingly bad in his Redskins debut. First, he missed a 29-yard field goal, pushing it very wide left after the Redskins marched from deep in their own territory into the red zone. That clearly wasn't bad enough, though. Somehow, the former Bengals kicker was given a chance to make up for his error at the end of the first half with the score tied. This time, he pushed a 49-yard attempt so far right that it didn't even hit the netting.

Something tells me the Redskins' kicking competition should be over. Well, at least it should be.
