Giants Vs. Redskins: Time, TV Schedule, Announcers And More For Week 1 NFL Matchup

It's finally here. Week 1 of the NFL season can begin in earnest on Sunday, and like most teams, the Washington Redskins will be in action. The second year of the Mike Shanahan era will kick off with a game against the short-handed New York Giants. Here is all you need to know about the contest.

Who: New York Giants vs. Washington Redskins.

Where: FedEx Field.

Time: 4:15 p.m. The parking lots open at 12:15 for tailgating, and gates open at 2:15. There is a special September 11 ceremony for the families of those who died in the attacks on the Pentagon at 3:15.

TV: FOX. CSN Washington's "Redskins Kickoff" show begins at 3.

Radio: ESPN 980.

Announcers: Joe Buck and Troy Aikman.

Injuries: LaRon Landry is out for the Redskins, and Chris Cooley's status is unclear. The Giants will be without Osi Umenyiora, Prince Amukamara and a number of other guys out for the year. Justin Tuck's status is still up in the air.

Odds: According to the latest NFL odds, the Giants are favored by three points.
