We didn't write about this on Monday because it seemed a bit flimsy, but apparently Tim Hightower, who was traded from the Arizona Cardinals to the Washington Redskins over the summer, sort of guaranteed a win over his former team when they play each other next Sunday. Here's the quote from Mike Jones of the Washington Post.
"You’ll see me getting my teammates a little extra motivated this week, make sure the coaches on defense have some tricks up their sleeves, and that they’re scheming right. I want to win this game, and we’re going to win this game, but I want to win this game. This one means a lot to me."
Seems pretty innocent. At least until outspoken Cardinals defense lineman Darnell Dockett heard about it.
