Tony Romo, Felix Jones, Miles Austin All Injured In Dallas Cowboys' Win Over 49ers

The Dallas Cowboys rallied to defeat the San Francisco 49ers, 27-24, in overtime to move their record to 1-1 on the season going into next Monday's showdown against the Washington Redskins. However, they suffered some major injuries in the win. Tony Romo, Felix Jones and Miles Austin all suffered injuries during the game, and their status is uncertain for next Monday. Romo re-entered to lead the comeback, so we'll see about him.

The most serious of the injuries appears to be the one suffered by Jones. ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports that Jones suffered a separated shoulder, which would certainly keep him out for some time. Austin, meanwhile, pulled his hamstring at the end of the game after scoring three touchdowns. Fellow wide receiver Dez Bryant didn't play on Sunday with a quad injury, so the Cowboys could be incredibly shorthanded.

Romo, meanwhile, suffered a rib injury and had to leave the game. Some reports indicated it was a broken rib, but it apparently wasn't enough to keep Romo sidelined in that game. Nevertheless, the Redskins will surely be catching a banged-up Cowboys team next Monday.
