Judging from this interview transcript by Dan Steinberg of Washington Redskins tight end Fred Davis' appearance on 106.7 The Fan, it's going to be fun to read his quotes. Earlier in the week, Davis told Jason Reid of the Washington Post that he's "killing these dudes," as in players who have tried to stop him this year. In this 106.7 The Fan interview, he said the following:
- On Rex Grossman's weight: "I mean Rex, yeah, he could do some P90X, but he’s not in bad shape though, he’s not in bad shape." Heck of a compliment, Fred.
- On LaRon Landry's muscles: "I don’t think that would be good for me. Maybe for him, but I just think I’d be a little more stiffer with that much muscle."
- On the convenient timing of this good play coming when his contract is up: "I mean, yeah, you want to get paid, but to me, honestly, I just feel I want to be one of the best, too.
