Redskins Vs. Cowboys Score Update: Tim Hightower Touchdown Gives Redskins 16-9 Lead

Finally, a touchdown! The Washington Redskins took a 16-9 lead on the Dallas Cowboys midway through this Monday Night Football contest, scoring on a one-yard touchdown pass from Rex Grossman to Tim Hightower. The pass catch was his first-ever touchdown reception of his career.

Hightower was the workhorse on the drive, piling up yards on the seven-play, 76-yard drive. The big strike came on a long pass and run from Grossman to Santana Moss, which brought the ball to Cowboys territory. Hightower picked up a first down inside the one-yard line on two tough runs, then the Redskins went play-action and threw to Hightower out of the backfield for the score.

Dallas will look to respond, but the Redskins' defense has been on point all game.
