Brian Orakpo Injury Update: Redskins' Linebacker Leaves Game With Cramp In Leg, Returns After Receiving IV Fluids

Star Washington Redskins linebacker Brian Orakpo has left the game in the third quarter with cramping in his leg. Orakpo appeared to injure himself on a fumble-inducing tackle of Felix Jones late in the quarter. Trainers initially worked on Orakpo on the Washington sideline, but he has since made his way into the locker oom. There has been no official word from the team on the status of the injury or Orakpo's possible return.

The Redskins, behind the legs and hands of running back Tim Hightower, lead the Cowboys 16-12 entering the fourth quarter. Washington and head coach Mike Shanahan are looking to begin the year 3-0, with two huge divisional wins in the first three weeks.

UPDATE: After receiving some IV fluids in the locker room, Orakpo is back on the field with more than thirteen minutes still left in the fourth quarter.
