Redskins Vs. Cowboys Final Score: Cowboys Beat Redskins, 18-16

It's all over in Dallas.  In a field goal fest, the Washington Redskins fell to the Dallas Cowboys, 18-16, in a Monday Night football divisional showdown. Both teams are now 2-1 on the season.

On third and 21 from their own 30 yard line, the Redskins brought a heavy blitz and Tony Romo scrambled and connected with Dez Bryant for a 30 yard pass.  Fifteen yards were added to the end of the play due to a DeAngelo Hall facemask. It was all Dan Bailey needed for his sixth field goal of the night to put the Cowboyss on top for good.

Earlier in the 4th, the Cowboys had the ball first and goal from the two yard line, after a sack and forced fumble by Rob Jackson was negated by a holding call on Oshi Atogwe.  The Skins defense, however, stood tall and held the Cowboys to a field goal after more miscommunication between Tony Romo and his young receiving corps.  The fifth field goal by Dan Bailey cut the Skins lead to 16-15.  The Skins were unable to respond and put any points on the board.

After the go-ahead sixth from Bailey, the Skins two minute drill would stall when Rex Grossman was chased down by Anthony Spencer from behind.  Spencer would force a fumble and the Cowboys would recover to run the clock out with an 18-16 win.
