Redskins Vs. Cowboys: DeAngelo Hall Also Upset With Facemask Penalty

We showed you earlier some comments that DeAngelo Hall made about the play call on that 3rd and 21 that the Cowboys were able to convert on leading to their game-winning field goal. But Hall was also upset with the officials after that play because he was called for a facemask that tacked another 15 yards onto what was already a big play for the Cowboys. CSN Washington has the rest of Hall's rant.

“That was a [bleeping] terrible call,” Hall said. “I told the ref he’s going to [bleeping] lose his job. I told the ref, ‘That might have been the worst call of the game.’ He’s going to get some demerit points for that call because that wasn’t no face-mask.”

Hall had to bring Dez Bryant down after he made the catch, and his hand appeared to brush Bryant's facemask. We believe this photo is from that play (not 100% sure), so you can check it out for yourself. It seems like Hall's hand is just palm down on the facemask, without the tugging that generally leads to calls. I don't blame him for being upset, but his big white glove on Bryant's facemask is pretty hard to miss.
