People love watching football, even if it's tremendously ugly football like we witnessed on Monday Night football. According to NFL PR man Greg Aiello, last night's game between the Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys drew the highest ratings ever for a Week 3 televised game ever.
Now, granted, it has only been a handful of years since Monday Night Football switched from ABC to ESPN, but that's still quite a remarkable factoid. All those people tuned in to see a really sloppy game that featured a ton of Tony Romo fumbles, lots of Bad Rex Grossman and a lot of field goals. Clearly, the Redskins vs. Cowboys rivalry still brings out a lot of passion. That, or people just really, really, really love football.
