Week 4 NFL Power Rankings: Redskins Remain At No. 13 In CBS's Latest Rankings

The national media does not seem phased by the Washington Redskins first loss of the season, an 18-16 road defeat to the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football. In SB Nation's Week 4 Power Rankings, the Redskins held steady at No. 13 despite the loss. The same goes for CBS's latest Power Rankings, compiled each week by Pete Prisco. Let's take a look at what he had to say.

Rank: 13 ; Previous: 13.

That defense is keeping them in the games. It's too bad the offense couldn't get it in the end zone more than once at Dallas.

Hard to argue there. The 'Skins defense certainly played well enough for Washington to win. Through three games now, the 'Skins defense is ranked 11th against the run and 15th against the pass. Something tells me though that Football Outsiders' DVOA metric will rate them even more favorably than those traditional metrics suggest.

By winning in Week 3 at home, the Dallas Cowboys moved up from 12th to 9th.

Washington next plays at St. Louis before their bye week in Week 5.
