The injury report for Sunday's NFL week 1 game between the New York Giants and Washington Redskins is now out, and key players listed as questionable on both sides include Giants defensive tackle Justin Tuck and Redskins tight end Chris Cooley. We covered Cooley here. Tuck, on the other hand, was able to practice a little bit on Friday, and he said he hopes to play. Via Mike Garafolo of the Newark Star-Ledger:
Tuck not talking at length. Says he's "hopeful" he'll play. So is everybody else in the organization...
In the meantime, here is the injury report from Redskins PR. Keep in mind that the Giants have several players that are on injured reserve who will not play.
- Out: LaRon Landry (hamstring)
- Questionable: Chris Cooley (knee), Oshiomogho Atogwe (hamstring), Brandon Banks (knee), Donte Stallworth (shoulder), Ryan Torain (hand)
- Out: Prince Amukamara (foot), Jonathan Goff (knee), Osi Umenyiora (knee)
- Questionable: Travis Beckum (hamstring), Justin Tuck (neck).
