The Senior Bowl 2012 rosters have been released in anticipation of the game, set to kickoff Saturday, Jan. 28, on NFL Network. The Washington Redskins' coaching staff, led by Mike Shanahan, will take command of the South squad, taking on a North team led by the Minnesota Vikings' staff. The game features some of the nation's best seniors in their final outing before the 2012 NFL Draft. Oklahoma St. Cowboys quarterback Brandon Weeden highlights the South roster. Weeden threw for 4727 yards in his senior season for the No. 3-ranked Cowboys, tallying a Big 12-leading 37 touchdowns to just 13 interceptions. The south also features Nick Foles of the Arizona St. Wildcats and Ryan Lindley of the San Diego St. Spartans at quarterback.
No players from the Maryland Terrapins made the South roster. Da'Rel Scott participated the 2011 Senior Bowl for Maryland and recorded five carries for 15 yards and a score. In addition, he caught one pass for 34 yards.
