NFL Mock Draft 2012: Robert Griffin III To Washington Redskins In Latest National Football Post Entry

The Washington Redskins will trade up to the No. 2 pick and select Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III, theorizes Wes Bunting of National Football Post in his latest 2012 NFL Mock Draft. Bunting is one of several who has projected the Redskins sacrificing draft picks to land the signal-caller they have needed for years.

RG3 is the kind of athletic quarterback that would be an ideal fit in the Washington offense. He can make plays outside the pocket, throw on the run and create second lives with his legs.

The price to acquire Griffin will be steep, but there are many who believe any price is worth it when it comes to finding a potential franchise quarterback. Griffin certainly projects to be just that, though nothing in the NFL Draft is an absolute certainty.
