The Minnesota Vikings have been one of the surprise teams of the young NFL season, and are hoping to continue their success Sunday against the Washington Redskins at FedEx Field. Minnesota (4-1) is currently tied for the division lead in the NFC North, and have already notched impressive victories against the San Francisco 49ers and on the road against the Detroit Lions.
Meanwhile, the Redskins (2-3) will be looking for a bounce-back victory after losing, 24-17, to the Atlanta Falcons last Sunday. Washington should get a boost from rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III, who will play despite suffering a concussion in last week's loss.
This will be the first meeting between the teams since last season's Week 16 showdown which the Vikings won, 33-26.
