NFL Schedule 2012, Week 7: Redskins travel to take on Giants

The Washington Redskins will seek to beat the defending champions on Sunday at MetLife Stadium.

Geoff Burke-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

In Week 7 of the NFL season, the Washington Redskins will head north to take on the New York Giants in hopes of earning themselves a share of the NFC East lead.

Washington has looked much improved behind Robert Griffin III, who has led this team at quarterback in his rookie campaign. The youngster was sublime last Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings, finding a way to bring home a victory.

Now at 3-3, the Redskins are attempting to vault themselves into the penthouse of their division with a huge win at MetLife Stadium. The Giants are feeling terrific after beating the San Francisco 49ers, 26-3, last weekend, so nothing will come easy in the Big Apple.

Other great games to watch include the aforementioned 49ers hosting the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night.

The Baltimore Ravens will start life without Ray Lewis and Lardarius Webb when they do battle with the Houston Texans on Sunday.
