Redskins injury report: Pierre Garcon doesn't practice

Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon sat out of Wednesday's practice due to the foot injury that has bothered him all season.

Brad Mills-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon missed practice on Wednesday with a nagging foot injury.

Garcon injured his foot in the Redskins opening week victory over the New Orleans Saints and has not been 100% since then. Garcon played in Weeks 4 and 5, but sat in Washington's Week 6 win over the Minnesota Vikings. Garcon spoke to the media on Wednesday and said that he still feels the pain when walking and that it was tough to push off on his foot or run. Garcon's status for Sunday's game against the New York Giants is still uncertain, as coach Mike Shanahan said there was no timetable for his return.

Safety Brandon Meriweather (knee) and cornerback David Jones (Achilles) both did not participate in practice on Wednesday as well. Cornerback DeAngelo Hall (knee), nose tackle Barry Cofield (shoulder), defensive end Doug Worthington (calf), safety Jordan Pugh (concussion), and cornerback Cedric Griffin (hamstring) were all limited in Wednesday's practice.
