The Redskins have released their injury report for Thursday, and they have ruled out safety Brandon Meriweather for Sunday's game against the Giants. Two other players missed practice on Thursday, with both Pierre Garcon and David Jones unable to take part.
Punter Sav Rocca continues to be limited, and his injury has the Redskins looking at other options for Sunday. The Redskins may also have some concerns about their secondary, as they are already the league's worst ranked pass defense and had four defensive backs that were either unable to participate or limited on Thursday.
The full Thursday injury report is as follows:
Did not practice:
FS Brandon Meriweather, WR Pierre Garçon, DB David Jones
Limited participation:
CB Cedric Griffin, CB DeAngelo Hall, SS Jordan Pugh, P Sav Rocca, DE Doug Worthington, RB Darrel Young
Full participation:
NT Barry Cofield, TE Fred Davis
The Redskins enter Sunday's game against the Giants at 3-3, with the Giants leading the division at 4-2. The game will be the first divisional contest of the year for Washington.
