The Washington Redskins are seeking to climb above .500 against the undefeated Atlanta Falcons in FedEx Field on Sunday.

Washington comes into the game after beating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the road with a last-second Billy Cundiff field goal. Now, the Redskins will play another NFC South team, but this time the test will be much stiffer.

Mike Shanahan's group has been winning in high-scoring affairs, with the offense putting up a minimum of 21 points and the defense allowing no fewer than 22 points.

Washington will have to do without Cedric Griffin and Brandon Meriweather in its secondary, with both having been ruled out. Evan Royster is questionable with a banged-up knee.

Atlanta is one of only two teams that's still unbeaten. The Falcons have put on an offensive show in each of their contests, scoring at least 27 points every game. Last weekend, Atlanta came from behind in the final minute to beat the Carolina Panthers on a Matt Bryant kick from 40 yards out.

The one area the Falcons could improve upon is their rushing defense, which ranks 29th in the league, averaging 146 yards allowed on the ground per game.

Atlanta is mostly healthy, with the notable exception of corner Brent Grimes, who is out for the season with a torn Achilles. Safety William Moore is questionable with a hip issue.
