Falcons vs. Redskins Score Update: Washington ahead 10-7 after 3 quarters, Griffin III out after big hit

A field goal by Billy Cundiff has given the Washington Redskins a 10-7 lead over the Atlanta Falcons after three quarters at FedEx Field.

Cundiff's 23-yard field goal was the only score of the third quarter.

The play just before the field goal was a scary scene for Redskins fans, as Robert Griffin III was hit hard and had to be attended to by the medical staff. Griffin III was rolling out to his right, trying to scramble toward the end zone when he was hit along the sideline by Sean Weatherspoon.
