The Houston Texans are still the best team in the NFL, so says the SB Nation NFL Power Rankings. Houston didn't impress anyone with their performance over the weekend, needing a fortunate call and overtime to beat the Detroit Lions, and it comes a week after it took overtime for them to beat the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars, too. But a win is a win and the Texans have done a lot of winning, going 10-1 to start the season, which is good enough for the top spot.
The Washington Redskins were another Thanksgiving winner and not being atop the power rankings, they actually had the chance to move up, which they did. Their 38-31 win over the Dallas Cowboys on the road was enough to push them four spots up to No. 16. They are now perfectly mediocre, right in the middle of the rankings.
16. Washington Redskins (LW: 20, 5-6): RGIII's next miracle will have to be beating the Giants and Ravens in December.
Oh yeah, that Robert Griffin III guy. He only went 20-for-28 with 311 yards and four touchdowns in Dallas. Not bad, rookie.
