Losers of two straight, the Washington Redskins will try to right the ship when they host the scuffling Carolina Panthers in Week 9 on Sunday.

Washington, coming off a 27-12 loss in Pittsburgh to the Steelers last week, ranks second in the NFL with 166.3 average rushing yards per game, as rookie running back Alfred Morris has piled up 717 yards and five touchdowns on the ground so far. Quarterback Robert Griffin III has also contributed to the ground attack, running for 476 yards and six touchdowns to go along with his eight passing touchdowns and 1,778 yards through the air.

Since their 35-27 win over the New Orleans Saints in Week 2, the Panthers have lost five consecutive games, four of them by five points or less. Last week, quarterback Cam Newton threw a late interception for a touchdown that ultimately proved to be the difference in their 23-22 loss to the Chicago Bears.

Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET at FedEx Field, and the game will be televised on Fox.
