While the biggest injury news this week of course centers around Robert Griffin III, there are several other players with injury concerns heading into the Week 15 game against the Browns. There was a barrage of RG3 questions, but Mike Shanahan noted three other key players at his Wednesday press conference who are also dealing with injuries.
London Fletcher, a Cleveland native, was listed on the injury report with the persistent ankle issue that's bothered him for almost a month now. Fletcher has played in 237 consecutive games, and while he did not practice on Wednesday, don't expect the the middle linebacker to miss such a crucial game in what is a homecoming of sorts.
On the offensive side of the ball, Shanahan also noted that Trent Williams and Pierre Garcon are on the injury report. Garcon will be listed with the foot injury that's bugged him for almost the entire season, but that hasn't seemed to hurt his production in recent weeks. Garcon should be available against a Browns secondary that is the weakness of their defense. Williams is dealing with a thigh injury and was limited in practice, but again, it's likely the massive tackle will be ready to play on Sunday in Cleveland.
Four other full participants in Redskins practice were listed on the Redskins injury report: defensive tackle Chris Baker (wrist), cornerback Richard Crawford (knee), linebacker Ryan Kerrigan (ankle), and cornerback Josh Wilson (shoulder)
