The Redskins have completed practice for Thursday and look fairly healthy heading into Sunday's game. Linebacker London Fletcher did not practice on Wednesday due to a left ankle injury, but he was able to take part in a limited role on Thursday.
Like Fletcher, quarterback Robert Griffin III (knee) and offensive tackle Trent Williams (thigh) were both limited participants on Thursday. Both were also limited during practice on Wednesday afternoon.
Head coach Mike Shanahan had the following to say about his quarterback, comparing RGIII's comfort on Thursday to Wednesday's practice session:
"You could see he was more comfortable. He was improved over yesterday."
Kirk Cousins will start at quarterback if Griffin isn't healthy enough to go.
Defensive tackle Chris Baker (wrist), cornerback Richard Crawford (knee), wide receiver Pierre Garcon (foot), linebacker Ryan Kerrigan (ankle) and cornerback Josh Wilson (shoulder) were all full participants on Thursday.
The Redskins need a win on Sunday when they face the Cleveland Browns. At the moment, the Redskins trail the Giants by one game in the NFC East and are a game behind the Bears for the final Wild Card place. Having Griffin, Fletcher and Williams available would certainly help their chances.
