On Sunday afternoon, the Washington Redskins and Cleveland Browns will meet in Cleveland Browns Stadium for a December showdown.
The Redskins seemed completely out of the playoff picture just a month ago after losing at home to the then one-win Carolina Panthers.
Now, Washington is right in the mix of not only the Wild Card race, but also the hunt for the NFC East crown, trailing the New York Giants by only one game in the standings. With a win and a Giants' road loss against the Atlanta Falcons, the Redskins would control their own divisional destiny with two games left.
It won't be easy, with Robert Griffin III a question mark for the game with a sprained knee. If he can't go, it will rest on the seemingly capable shoulders of another rookie, Kirk Cousins.
Cleveland has been playing much better of late, winners of its last three contests, including a 30-7 rout of the Kansas City Chiefs last week.
