A few Washington Redskins could be awarded Wednesday after a stellar season.
With the NFC East on the line Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys, the Redskins may have a few players named as Pro Bowlers on Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET.
Rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III is a near-lock to earn a place on the Pro Bowl team. After voting ended Dec. 17, Griffin earned almost 685,000 votes -- which was the sixth-best total in the NFL.
The only players ahead of Griffin were Denver's Peyton Manning, New England's Tom Brady, Houston's Arian Foster, Minnesota's Adrian Peterson and Green Bay's Aaron Rodgers.
Grffin has had an impressive rookie campaign. The second-overall pick in the draft has completed 66 percent of his passes for 3,100 yards and 20 touchdowns. He's thrown just five interceptions this season.
He's also been a force running the ball. He's rushed for 752 yards and six touchdowns on 114 carries. He's averaging more than 50 rushing yards per game.
Pro Bowl voting results will be available on the NFL's website.
The 2013 Pro Bowl takes place Sunday, Jan. 27.
