2012 NFL Draft: Robert Griffin III Moves Pro Day To Avoid Conflict With Andrew Luck

The top two quarterbacks in the NFL Draft, and arguably players overall, are Robert Griffin III and Andrew Luck. Until recently they were scheduled to have their pro-days on the same day in a month or so, but that would have presented some serious challenges for scouts that needed to see both players before the Draft in April. Well, it appears that problem has been solved. According to ESPN, Griffin has moved the date of his Pro Day, and will likely wait to throw until then.

Griffin, who has been working extensively with quarterback consultant Terry Shea on his foot work, said he will instead save the throwing for his pro day March 21, which has been moved up a day to avoid going at the same time as the pro day for fellow top quarterback prospect Andrew Luck.

This will certainly reduce the stress on some NFL teams, and it will also give Griffin an opportunity to show his wares and put the pressure on Luck before his Pro Day.
