With the recent news that Redskins center Will Montgomery has been resigned to a four-year extension. Many people were wondering what the salary implications were for this extension and now thanks to Jason La Canfora, blogger for the NFL Network, there are now some figures.

With the salary topping out at a maximum of $3 million a year this is not an overbearing contract that the Redskins have signed the veteran to. This is another move that could show that the Redskins are losing interest in signing Peyton Manning, but anything can happen when it comes to free agency.
