Super Bowl 2012: President Barack Obama Refuses To Make A Pick In Pregame Interview With Matt Lauer

In a pregame interview with NBC's Matt Lauer, President Obama maintained his neutrality and refused to pick either the New York Giants or New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI. Obama hasn't been shy to make picks in the past, whether it's picking the Steelers to win the Super Bowl or filling out an NCAA tournament bracket. On this occasion, however, he said it was simply too close to call.

Before turning the interview discussion to current affairs, Lauer also asked whether the good looks of Pats quarterback Tom Brady resonated with the ladies of his house. Obama insisted that his daughters were too young to be putting posters of Brady, or Justin Bieber, up on their walls. It was a surreal question from Lauer, and didn't exactly provide a natural segue to the Iran-Israel discussion that followed.
