Super Bowl 2012: New York Giants' Win Continues Washington Redskins' Streak

Congratulations to all the members who have played for the Washington Redskins for the past two years! Thanks to the New York Giants' 21-17 win over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI, the Redskins have officially become better than the last two NFL champions.

OK, so not really. But if you feel the need to smack talk all those overjoyed Giants fans, feel free to note these three results.

October 10, 2010: Spearheaded by an injury to top Green Bay Packers defender Clay Matthews, the Redskins rally for a stunning 16-13 win over the Packers at FedEx Field. Three months later, the Packers win Super Bowl 45.

September 11, 2011: Ryan Kerrigan's tipped interception changes the tide of the 2011 season opener, as the Redskins make the Giants look old and injured in a 28-14 win at FedEx Field.

December 18, 2011: The Redskins deliver a death blow to the Giants' playoff hopes, beating them up, 23-10, in a game that wasn't even that close.

Yup, that's a 3-0 record against the last two Super Bowl champions. Can't wait for the Redskins themselves to find consolation in this.
