With free agency beginning to open, a name that the Redskins thought they could pursue if Vincent Jackson or Pierre Garcon were taken is now off the market. The New Orleans Saints agreed to an extension with wide receiver Marques Colston according to Fox Sports' Jay Glazer.

The loss of Colston as a possible target by the Redskins is not crippling, but it does remove a possible second option if Colston and Garcon do not sign with the Redskins.
