Redskins Free Agency 2012: Adam Carriker And Kory Lichtensteiger Re-Sign

The Washington Redskins announced Tuesday afternoon that they have re-signed both defensive end Adam Carriker and guard Kory Lichtensteiger.

Carriker, who was an unrestricted free agent, will be returning for his third season with the Redskins and sixth in the NFL. He has registered 188 tackles, nine sacks, and three forced fumbles in 63 career games (57 starts). Carriker saw plenty of improvement in 2011, as he was able to have 5.5 sacks last season alone.

Lichtensteiger has appeared in 37 NFL games (19 starts), and played in the first five games of the 2011 season at left guard before a knee injury landed him on the injure reserved.
