Johnson backed up Josh Freeman for the past two seasons in Tampa, and with Rex Grossman back in the fold and Robert Griffin III likely on the way, the interest in Johnson would almost certainly be for a backup and utility role. He completed 19 of 36 passes for one touchdown and two interceptions last season, spelling Freeman who dealt with a shoulder injury.
