Prince George's County 'Very Interested' In Building Redskins Facility, According To Report

While the rumors are continuing to swirl about Washington, D.C. trying to bring the Redskins back into the city, a new report from the ESPN 980 Facebook page shows that there is interest to build a new practice facility in Prince George's County.

A PG County political source tells ESPN 980 that the county is still "very interested" in luring the team, and the land/economic feasibility study near Bowie State is due back in late April.

If the Redskins decide to leave Ashburn, Prince George's County would get the first opportunity to convince the Redskins to move up there for a new facility. This is due to the Redskins having the FedEx Field lease with the county through 2027.

The Redskins at this time have still not officially expressed interest in moving from their current facility in Ashburn.
