Jarvis Jenkins Injury Update: Redskins Defensive Lineman Cleared For Football Activities

Washington Redskins defensive lineman Jarvis Jenkins was officially cleared for football activities according to his twitter account on Wednesday.

Officially was cleared earlier today to play ball again god is good now it's def time for football!! #HTTR

Jenkins was drafted out of Clemson in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He looked promising in three preseason games until tearing his ACL against the Baltimore Ravens.

Now that Jenkins is back he will most likely compete for a starting position as a defensive end. His ability to get a good push off the offensive line should be able to give more advantage to linebackers such as Brian Orakpo and Ryan Kerrigan.
