NFL Mock Draft 2012: Yet Another Mock Predicts Robert Griffin III To Washington

The 2012 NFL Draft is quickly approaching, and if you didn't know any better you might think the Washington Redskins had already drafted former Baylor standout Robert Griffin III. Unfortunately for Washington fans, that has not actually occurred but, if you go by the majority of mock drafts hitting the web these days, it is a virtual lock the Redskins will take Griffin III. Like most of the others, WalterFootball.com's latest mock agrees with that sentiment:

Washington Redskins: Robert Griffin, QB, Baylor
The Redskins will be a playoff-caliber team over the next 10 years because of this trade. They did not give up too much. No way. Three first-round picks and a second-rounder is the correct price for a franchise quarterback - especially one whom you don't have to give $50 million guaranteed to right away.

This was also a great trade for the Rams. They'll be in great position to improve their roster over the next few years with all of their first-round selections. In fact, the only losers in this deal are the Browns and teams in the NFC East, who will now have to deal with a quarterback who looks like he could be the next Steve Young.

Redskins fans certainly hope this assessment is right, as they have been dying for a franchise quarterback for going on two decades now.
