We've known for months now that the Redskins would take Robert Griffin III with the second overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, but that doesn't make that pick any less exciting. The guys over at SB Nation have already come out with their 2012 NFL Draft Grades for the first round on Thursday, and the Redskins get a solid 'A' for their pick of RGIII.
Yeah, they gave up a boatload to move up, but if Robert Griffin III is as good as us draft analysts say he is then there's no question it was worth the move.
The Redskins got their franchise quarterback in this Draft, and even though they paid a lot for him, that position is priceless. After weeks of waiting for it to be official, it finally is.
