The Washington Redskins did a little bit of wheeling and dealing in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft, trading the 69th overall pick to the Buffalo Bills in exchange for the 71st overall pick and the 217th overall pick.
The Redskins used the 71st pick to select guard Josh LeRibeus of Southern Methodist University.
A native of Richardson, Texas, LeRibeus was primarily a left guard for the Mustangs. In 2009, he was an honorable mention member of the All-Conference USA Team. That year, SMU's offense set school records in points and total yards.
LeRibeus missed the entire 2010 season after being ruled academically ineligible and claims to have lost 70 pounds in the interim.
