2012 NFL Draft Results: Washington Selects Defensive Backs Richard Crawford, Jordan Bernstine With Seventh Round Picks

The Washington Redskins used their final two picks in the 2012 NFL Draft on defensive backs, choosing Richard Crawford of SMU and Jordan Bernstine of Iowa with the sixth and 10th selections in the seventh round.

Crawford, the 213th overall selection, played cornerback for the Mustangs and has punt return skills that drew the attention of scouts. At pick No. 217 the Redskins selected Bernstine, who is considered a tough and explosive defender but has some issues locating the ball when in the air.

Even if they do not ultimately make the final roster, Crawford and Bernstine will at least provide good competition when training camp begins in the fall.
