Kevin Ewoldt of Hogs Haven winged his way over to Brooklyn for the largely anticlimactic unveiling of Nike's new NFL jerseys. Luckily for all of us, he brought his video camera with him and was able to snag a few words with one of Washington's defensive captains, Brian Orakpo.
The first video is here and features Orakpo discussing how the new uniforms could prevent him being held by offensive linemen ("That's why [Nike] made this stuff for me," he says.), working out with DeMarcus Ware, and the health of his surgery-repaired shoulder:
"Feels great, man. 100 percent. Ready to go."
The second video is here and features Orakpo disclosing his thoughts on the trade with the St. Louis Rams for (likely) Robert Griffin III.
"I was excited, man. It was a move we had to make ... I'm excited for the future of this team."
There's plenty more where that came from, if you're interested. Just head on over to Hogs Haven for more.
