Redskins Free Agency: Washington Signs Linebacker Jonathan Goff

According to a post on ESPN.com, the Washington Redskins have added to their linebacking corps by signing former New York Giants linebacker Jonathan Goff. The Redskins now have some surprising depth of that position.

Goff was supposed to be the starting linebacker last season for the Giants before tearing his ACL. This addition, along with Bryan Kehl as well as fourth-round pick Keenan Robinson should sure up the inside linebacker position with London Fletcher and Perry Riley currently prospected to be the top starters at that position and Lorenzo Alexander right behind them. With Fletcher's age and Riley's inexperience, if Goff is healthy he could find himself getting a lot of playing time for the Redskins.
