Veteran defensive end Kedric Golston should be re-signed by the Washington Redskins at some point on Monday according to a report by ESPN 980's Chris Russell.
Veteran DE Kedric Golston has reached agreement & is expected to re-sign today, @ESPNRadio980 has learned, with the Washington #Redskins
— Chris Russell (@Russellmania980) April 9, 2012
Golston played in nine games for the Redskins last season and managed 1.5 sacks along with a forced fumble. Golston has played for the Redskins every year since being drafted in the sixth round in 2006.
For his career he has recorded seven sacks, two forced fumbles and has been credited with 168 total tackles. Golston is a special teams specialist so re-signing him can only help the kick off and punt coverage teams going forward.
