San Francisco 49ers free agent safety Madieu Williams is close to choosing a team. One of the teams Williams is deciding between, according to Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee, is the Washington Redskins.
Washington and the Atlanta Falcons are the two teams Williams is reportedly choosing from. Here is the original tweet from Barrows:
Hearing 49ers free-agent safety Madieu Williams will be heading to either ATL or WAS shortly. The 49ers appear to be out of the running.

Washington is seeking safety help after releasing LaRon Landry and O.J. Atogwe. Williams would work behind Brandon Meriweather if signed by the Redskins. He visited the team last week.
Williams started three games for the 49ers last season.
