Organized Team Activities continued for the Washington Redskins Monday out in Ashburn. It was another chance for the team to get together and sharpen some skills ahead of training camp this summer. One of those skills they might want to sharpen would be "not trucking your coach during the workout."
Mike Shanahan won't speak to the media today because he was involved in a collision during practice.— Daniel Shiferaw (@dshif) May 21, 2012
The collision involved Pierre Garcon, who ran a deep route and was guarded closely by his defender. Both collided with Shanahan, who fell.— Daniel Shiferaw (@dshif) May 21, 2012
We're just going to point out here that Mike Shanahan turns 60 in August. Getting hit by an NFL player doesn't feel very good to much younger men, much less a near-sexagenarian. So for today, we'll join London Fletcher in not blaming the coach for skipping the Q&A.
London Fletcher on Shanahans hit: "Pretty scary." Says he doesn't recall ever seeing that before in the league— Daniel Shiferaw (@dshif) May 21, 2012
