NFL Free Agency 2012: Oshiomogho Atogwe To Sign With Philadelphia Eagles, According To Report

The Washington Redskins are going to have to work hard to replace another defensive player this season. Safety Oshiomogho Atogwe will sign a contract with the Philadelphia Eagles, according to a tweet by ESPN 980 AM Redskins insider Chris Russell.

Nothing has been finalized between Atogwe and the Eagles, but it appears that he will be going to Philadelphia this season.

Atogwe was signed by the Redskins last season after spending six seasons with the St. Louis Rams. Last season Atogwe played in 13 games and started eight, recording 60 combined tackles and recording half a sack. He also intercepted three passes which tied him for the team lead with cornerback DeAngelo Hall.

The Redskins have to hope that new secondary coach Raheem Morris will be able to find the next safety that the Redskins can have wreak havoc back in the secondary.
