Jammal Brown began the 2012 training camp with the Washington Redskins on the PUP List, and according to Grant Paulsen of 106.7 The Fan, he is heading to New York to meet with his doctor to discuss the injury.
Brown, a two-time Pro Bowler, was expected to be the starting right guard, but yet again has injury problems derailing his contributions to the Redskins. He has ended his year on the injured reserve in each of the last two seasons, but this injury does not appear to be as threatening.
As for who is getting the snaps in Brown's place, Washington has turned to Tyler Polumbus at right guard to fill in.
