Redskins Training Camp: Jonathan Goff Will Miss 2012 Season With Torn ACL

For the second season in a row, linebacker Jonathan Goff will watch from the sidelines. The Washington Redskins revealed on Monday that the veteran linebacker tore his right ACL in Saturday's practice and will miss the entire 2012 season.

Goff missed all of 2011, with the New York Giants, because of a torn ACL, the same one he tore on Saturday. Washington signed him this spring to bolster their linebacker depth. Goff started in the middle for New York in 2010, the last time he played football.

Goff turns 27 in December.
