Redskins Sign OT Jordan Black, Release LB Jonathan Goff

After tearing his ACL on Saturday, the Redskins announced they have waived linebacker Jonathan Goff who would revert back to their injured reserve if he goes through the waiver wire unclaimed. Filling his spot on the roster is offensive tackle Jordan Black.

Since joining the league in the 2003 NFL Draft, Black has spent time with the Chiefs, Texans, Jaguars and Saints before joining the Redskins.

Goff signed with the Redskins after missing the entire 2011 season with the New York Giants due to an ACL tear in the same knee that was most recently injured. Prior to the pair of knee injuries, Goff started in all 16 games for the Giants in 2010 and recorded 80 tackles for the team.
