Colts Vs. Redskins: Game Time, TV Schedule, Injury Updates And More

Rookie QBs Robert Griffin III and Andrew Luck will meet in Saturday's preseason action.

Presswire

The Indianapolis Colts will visit the Washington Redskins on Saturday for each team's third preseason game. Both teams enter the game with 1-1 records and are expected to play their starters deep into the game.

Fans will likely focus on the first NFL showdown between Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III, who were selected first and second in 2012's NFL draft. The Redskins are commemorating the head-to-head battle with t-shirts.

Redskins running back TIm Hightower, returning from reconstructive knee surgery, will reportedly make his 2012 debut. It will be a timely return for Hightower, as RBs Roy Helu Jr. and Evan Royster will both miss Saturday's game with injuries of their own.

Colts wide receiver Austin Collie is not expected to play after suffering yet another concussion in last week's game.

Saturday's game coverage is set to begin at at 4 p.m. ET and can be viewed on the NFL network.
